Emily Hopper and her friend Liz will swim the length of the English Channel for charity! 

As you may know, Emily (Tom’s little sister) and her friend Liz will be taking to the pool for a charity swim, to support the South West Children’s Hospice. They’ll swim the width of the English Channel - 22miles - in 12 hours - tomorrow Wednesday April 11th!

Tom Hopper’s (Sir Percival) younger sister and her friend are going to swim the lenght of the English Channel (in a pool) and would love to get sponsored!

…on the 11th of April together we are planning on swimming the length of the English Channel(22miles), in one 12 hour session between us. In a 25 metre pool. One of us will be in the pool at all times, swimming mile by mile.

Adetomiwa Edun and Tom Hopper, who star in BBC fantasy series Merlin, based on the legends of King Arthur and the wizard Merlin, will be there.

They are fitting in the visit before filming for the fifth series gets under way in March.

Edun, who plays Gwen’s brother Sir Elyan, and Hopper, who plays gentle giant Sir Percival, will take to the stage for a question and answer session at the show at Telford International Centre and will be signing autographs for fans.
